Kenyan police have been trying to force Somali refugees to return home. The police are accused of working for Somali warlords, who want their people on the Somali side of the border. Up to 10,000 Somalis fled clan fighting over the last five weeks, but all but 4,000 have returned home. Kenya already hosts some 200,000 refugees, mostly Somalis, in several camps. The refugees are not popular with Kenyans (because they get free food and other goodies from the air organizations, and because of crime and competing for scarce jobs.)
