The MILF has again agreed to help the government hunt down Islamic radicals in the Moslem south. Breakaway factions of the MILF have often turned into Islamic radicals, as many MILF members do not want to cut a deal with the government. The MILF will assist in the search for 53 individuals known to belong to various Islamic radical organizations (like Jemaah Islamiya, al Qaeda, Abu Sayyaf and Khadaffy Janjalani). There are apparently only a few hundred of these radicals still out there, but they are still planting bombs and killing people.
