GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 6, 2008) Cmdr. Joel Newman, left,a Rabbi aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), unrolls a Torah in the ship's chapel during an introduction class to the Jewish religious holiday of Yom Kippur before a brief Yom Kippur service. The Torah, which was donated to the ship, was hand written about 200 years ago.
