Italy has delivered the second of three Multi-Purpose Logistics Modules to NASA. These will be used by Space Shuttles to ferry supplies and equipment to the International Space Station. At regular intervals, a shuttle will take a full MPLM up to the station and bring back an empty one; the station crews will thus be able to keep new equipment stored until it is ready for installation.--Stephen V Cole
