Brazil is Russia's largest trading partner in Latin America ($1.5 billion last year, $2 billion this year, mostly in raw materials and agricultural products). Brazil is also negotiating deals to buy Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missiles and Ukrainian Tsyklon space boosters.--Stephen V Cole
