The 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (basically the 1st Marine Division plus supporting units) created the 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade last November; the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force set up the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade in March. The 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force will set up an expeditionary brigade later this year.--Stephen V Cole
